MAKE A QUILT

The Giant HUG will go around the circumference of the church.

It is made up of smaller quilts which will be donated to young adults leaving care.

Each quilt is around 6ft (72″) in length – So we will need to make around 50 Quilts to go around the circumference of the Church!

Quilting has long been associated with Lt. Massingham church.

Anna Marageretta Brereton (nee Lloyd) [1756-1819] is quite famous in quilting history. She famously made Bed Hangings from hexagons (see http://brereton.org.uk/brinton/bedhangings.htm). Her family are closely associated with the Church – her son Charles David Brereton settled at Little Massingham and was Rector.
